The Brain Technology Institute’s mission is to improve the outcome of neurosurgical procedures. We do this by centralizing the knowledge and R&D effort needed to bring to market medical devices that truly make a difference in patients’ lives. Leading world-class neurosurgeons support this mission while BTI’s state-of-the-art facilities ensure fast bench-to-bedside device development. 

Thanks to BTI’s close collaboration with the departments of neurosurgery of University Medical Center Utrecht (NL), University Hospital Zurich (CH), Toronto University Health Network (CA) and Lenox Hill Hospital New York (USA) and BTI’s facilities and know-how, BTI is able to translate the results of research done in the laboratory to develop new technological products to treat patients. 

Through its research, development and educational activities, BTI’s ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life for people with neurological diseases
